Banish negative words form your vocabulary.
Do not use negative words like can't or never or won't. After all and if you believe that something cannot be done, chances are you will only prove yourself right.
Exercise both you body and mind.
Sitting around bored with nothing to do will not give you confidence nor make you feel happy or good about yourself. Instead, go out and exercise or just be active as an active brain and body will increase your confidence level.
Eat happy foods to increase your serotonin levels.
Remember to eat happy foods such as chocolate, ice-cream, strawberries etc as such foods will increase your brain's serotonin levels and help you to feel happier.
Face fear head-on rather than try to avoid it.
Try to face fear head-on rather than try to avoid it. In other words, go ahead and volunteer to speak in front of a big crowd or parachute out of an airplane if you ave the fear of heights.
Learn from your mistakes and learn to accept them.
Remember that not everything will go according to plan. Accept both mistakes and rejections as they come but more importantly, learn from your mistakes and find out why you were rejected.
Make a list of what you are good at.
Come up with a list of all of the thing or activities that you are good at. More importantly, spend time analyzing the list to figure out why you are good at doing the things listed on it.
Help others as it will make you feel useful.
Find ways to help other as being useful or feeling that you are useful will be a great confidence booster - especially when other people tell you how much they appreciate your help.

Discovering passions is important. If you have something that you love to do, you have something to look forward to doing. It will also help you cope with stress.

Take part in activities that you enjoy doing and will make you feel positive about yourself. These activities can include doing volunteer work to just going out for a walk around your neighborhood for execise.
Listen to yourself and not just to others.
Be sure to listen to yourself and not just to others. In other words, when your body, mind or gut is telling you something, you should be listening to it.
Get rid of any negativity in your life.
Get rid of the negatives in your life or anything that will drag down your confidence. For example: If you have friends who are being negative, either find new friends who are more positive or stay away from them until they become more positive.
Surround yourself with positivity.
Surround yourself with positive things and positive people. Moreover over and if you can't be physically surrounded by positive people, surround yourself with pictures of the most positive and upbeat people you know.
Always be totally honest with yourself.
While its ok not to always be honest with other people in certain circumstances, always be totally honest with yourself. Just don't be so bruttally honest that you beat up on your self.
Disarm the negative nagging voice that's inside.
Disarm any negative or nagging voice that may be lurking deep inside of you. You can do this by thinking about a volume control and then thinking about turning the volume either down or completely off.
Ask and you shall (eventually) receive.
Remember: If you ask enough people for whatever it is that you want (within reason), you will probably eventually find someone who will give it to you. Afterall, the best sales people know that sales is a numbers game.

Look into the past or even the future and ask yourself whether the problems that you currently face right now are really all that bad. In other words, put things into proper prospective.
Find someone who is confident and imitate them.
Look for someone who is already confident at doing something that you want to do and just copy them. Either talk to them or people they know or find another way to get exposure to them.
If you do something new, imagine having done it.
If you are doing something new for the first time, just imagine that you have already done it. More importantly, imagine that you were wildly successful at doing it already in the past.
