Health versus wealth


'- --------Adam Morden----- being healthy I think is the single, um, and fittest, is the single most important thing you can do, I mean, you've read um, I gonna talk about reading, and now, but um, I read, a lot of a, biographies, of my, my um, very successful people, and most of, a lot of the time you read it, I wanted that to spread with this um, like Felix Dennis. He's a, a U.K. ah, multi, multi, multi, multi, multi-bil, millionaire, you know, he's younger billionaire, um, and, um, I always have this whole book is, it's all great, you know, being a successful and have all this money and getting so rich, but I, the, I traded, I traded for my youth on my health, and the sec, um, so I really I think people have to remember that. That it's crucially, keep that, that, that healthy fitness, no matter how much money, no matter how much work, you know, you got, you got to give yourself that time. And I see it. Um, with, with our, with ourselves, um, in my family, you know, myself, my wife, were able to, you know, chase down my kids all day. We play with them, do whatever, um, you know, they wanted to go buy, and we can jump on to buy with them, we can carry them back up, we could chase them, we can run, we can play, we have our, we have our like um, solo flights, and you know, fun stuff like that where, I see other people who, who are huffing and puffing on how to take that. You know, you work to the top of the hill, and come on back down. Dad is gonna wait here. And I think you'll lose out on so much of life, if you can't experience that, right? Like at, at, at out across which is my, my gym here in Hamilton, my big focus is on a, we think, the focus is building the, your extraordinary, your own personal extraordinary life. Give you this, this ability to do whatever you want, whenever you want. And that's to me what fitness is about. It's, it's not about how much weight you can lift this, it's not about ah, how fast you're 10K is, or if you can do a marathon, or whatever else. None of that really matters, what matters is that, you're able to do whatever you want to do, whenever you want to do it. So, I, I for, for me, it's, it's just about being, being fittest, about being able to do like, 'hey, do you want to come out biking this weekend? Sure. Or hey, do you want to go snowboarding? Sure, hey, do you want to try parachuting? Sure. What do you want to do next?' All, let's go about whatever, whatever you're after, and you can do whatever, you don't pick, picked out merely baseball. Fine, I can do it. Like, I don't have to train for that, I don't have to practice, I'm just ready to, ready to go and do whatever you're saying, that thing with my kids, you know, like um, I can take them, you know, take him, take him, and go for a big hike, and they get tired, like I carry them back for, for like I did today. I carry it for other 10K. She was like just tired.
